Senior Management Support Staff Sales Engineering Field IT Services
Engineered Services, Inc gets its vision and corporate direction from the senior management team and the division managers that oversee our products, services and technologies. We use this vision to set goals and create the business plans for our future. All employees are involved with and engaged in our planning and goals setting activities.
The Support Staff is responsible for payroll, accounting, building maintenance, human resources, telephone and general management. As a division, they "work for the rest of the company". Our support staff is located in the Sterling, VA office.
The Sales Division is responsible for how the company is perceived from within and without, how our website and advertising looks, and what affiliations we keep. The salesmen are responsible for selling plan & spec control systems, direct-owner control systems, existing building retrofit control systems, upgrades to existing control systems, access control and CCTV camera systems, and Digital Video Recorders. We have multiple products to choose from, and decades of experience in helping you select the right product for your application.
Our Engineering team at ESI has decades of Building Automation experience. Our Systems Engineers completely engineer any project and create submittal packages, asbuilts and Operation & Maintenance manuals. Plans and specifications are primarily used to design projects, however, we also do a significant amount of design-build and design-assist work, where our team provides the basis for automation system design.
Our field technicians are the main engine of the company. It is the responsibility of our skilled labor force of Field Technicians to man projects, and install automation systems as designed by our engineering staff. Project Managers work in and out of the office, order the parts and pieces, and run interference for the crew so they can get the work done. Field supervisors hop from project to project, helping the project foremen to lay out the job so it can be installed on time, and in a neat and profession manner.

ESI installs the majority of its projects with in-house labor. With more than 20 trucks on the road, you know we can handle your work!

Our IT group has decades of experience in networking and computer systems. They are IT Certified Engineers and programmers trained specifically for the Building Automation industry. They are responsible for workstation & server configuration, as well as integrating network components into our customer’s existing infrastructures. They will write, test, and install all the control software, and draw and animate the graphical user interface for our customers. ESI also works on systems integration with various industry standard languages and protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP and many more.

Our Factory trained service technicians service Schneider Electric /Andover Controls equipment, Delta Controls systems, CCTV, access controls and pneumatic control systems. Our maintenance contract base serves hundreds of clients around our coverage area and we run service 24 hours a day. ESI stocks $400,000 in spare parts for our contract customers. With our service agreements clients, we keep busy taking care of many of the prominent buildings in the greater Baltimore/Washington DC and Southern Virginia areas. Custom service agreements are also one of our specialties, where the client helps us create a program tailored to meet their specific needs.
